Honestly, I have no idea.
I have this problem where I don’t eat. It’s not so much that I don’t want to, it’s more that I have trouble coming up with ideas. I’ll open the fridge, maybe pick out one or two things that I could cook for myself, but the options are never exciting enough to actually motivate me to do anything but stare at the cupboard shelves. Pair that with the fact that I never get as hungry or hangry as most people seem to, and it becomes a bad mix. Not so great when I’m a human person who needs sustenance.
Yes, I did only get that word from Thor, thank you very much.
This is a problem I want to tackle, so I decided to start with my two biggest struggles: motivation and ideas. Also, as I’ve mentioned above, boredom. If I’m not excited enough to eat something, I just won’t.
So far, my plan is to come up with a list of meals I can make the next week, and make sure I have enough ingredients in the house in order to make them. Criteria for the recipes include:
- Being interesting and tasty enough
- Being easy to make
- Not very expensive
- Uses up ingredients already in the house
